Anthony Tacconi
Anthony Tacconi focuses his practice in the areas of Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation. In the IP field, Mr. Tacconi handles both litigation and transactional matters related to all aspects of intellectual property. His practice includes work in the fields of patent, trademark, and copyright law, as well as in the areas of unfair competition and trade secrets. Mr. Tacconi is a patent attorney registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Tacconi’s technical experience spans the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biology, and physics. Further, he is often called upon to provide assistance to clients in actions involving technology, cyber law, Internet, and E-commerce issues.
Since entering the intellectual property field, Mr. Tacconi has written articles and presented seminars in the areas of patent and IP law, been interviewed by Richmond NBC 12 for an exposé concerning product counterfeiting and trademark infringement in Virginia, and has been recognized by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as having attained one of the top ten defense verdicts in Virginia in 2004. He was also named as a Virginia Rising Star (2008, 2011, 2012 and 2013) by Virginia Super Lawyers Magazine in the area of Intellectual Property.
